On spring 2018 empathy designer and artist Enni-Kukka Tuomala contacted me and asked for a collaboration. She had started EMPATIA ELE EMPATHY TOOLS FOR POLITICS -project and asked if I would film and document part of the process. I said yes and now 1,5 year later EMPATIA ELE is part of the DESIGNS FOR DIFFERENT FUTURES exhibition in USA at Philadelphia Museum of Art alongside such talented designers and designs.

~EMPATIA ELE asks people to imagine a world where politics is built on empathy. To imagine a more human + understanding + empathic culture of politics. What if politics was built on empathy? Empatia Ele: empathy tools for politics addresses the empathy deficit at the heart of power: the government. Creating new rituals, perspectives and communications through play, Empatia Ele [Finnish for “empathy gesture”] reforms dialogue and interaction between politicians.
